New Electrical Installations
Most electrical work is not a rewire or an emergency, it is the steady list of things a house needs: another double socket where the extension lead currently lives, proper lighting in a kitchen that was never planned for it, power and light in a garden room or summerhouse, or a full first-fix and second-fix on an extension.
Outdoor work is a real strength of ours. Garden lighting, decking and step lights, festoon runs, up-and-down wall lights, outdoor sockets and infrared patio heaters all need weatherproof fittings, correctly rated cable and proper RCD protection, and they need burying and routing so the garden still looks like a garden afterwards.
Whatever the scale, the finish is the part people notice: cable routed sensibly, fittings level, and the walls and floors left as we found them.

Planned before it is fitted
We walk through what you want and where, and say honestly if a different position or fitting would work better. Changes are free on paper.
Indoor and outdoor
Sockets, lighting circuits, kitchen and bathroom installations inside, and weatherproof garden lighting, outdoor sockets, garden rooms and outbuildings outside.
Correctly protected
New circuits are correctly rated, RCD protected and added to the board properly, not spurred off whatever happened to be nearest.
Tested to BS 7671
Every new circuit is fully tested, and you get the paperwork without having to chase for it.

How much does it cost to add sockets or lighting?
Across Leeds a single extra socket is typically £80 to £150 and a room of downlights £300 to £600, depending on the number of points and how accessible the routes are. We price each job after seeing it, with one fixed price in writing before we start.
Can you wire a garden room or summerhouse?
Yes, and it is some of our favourite work. Supply out to the building, sockets, internal lighting and heating, plus external lighting around it, all correctly protected and tested.
Do you do garden and outdoor lighting?
Regularly. Decking and step lights, up-and-down wall lights, festoon runs, planter and border lighting, and outdoor sockets and heaters. All weatherproof rated and properly protected.
Will you make a mess of the walls?
We chase, route and make good carefully, sheet up before we start and clear up at the end of each day. A tidy finish is the thing our customers mention most.
