Wetherby is the north-eastern corner of the Leeds district, a market town on the Wharfe with a racecourse, a weir and the A1(M) running past it. It is a genuine run from our base, and we treat it as one: proper appointment times rather than a vague window.
The centre is Georgian stone around the Market Place and Bridge, handsome and old enough that wiring has usually been replaced in stages rather than all at once. Around that sits a great deal of newer estate housing built from the seventies onwards, which is where most of the consumer unit upgrades and additional circuits happen.
There is a lot of comfortable detached property here with the driveways and gardens to suit chargers and outdoor lighting, which is the work we most enjoy and are asked for most often.
