Horsforth still calls itself the largest village in England, and it has the Town Street to back the claim up. It is comfortable, well kept north-west Leeds, and the work here looks different to the work on our own side of the city.
Less of it is rewiring and more of it is adding: kitchen and extension circuits, outdoor sockets, garden lighting and chargers on the Victorian stone villas and 1930s semis around Hall Park and Broadgate Lane. Garden lighting in particular suits Horsforth gardens, which tend to be long, mature and worth lighting properly rather than flooding with one glaring lamp.
The newer apartments and houses at Kirkstall Forge are a different job again, generally well built and mostly needing sensible additions rather than anything structural.
