Bramhope sits up on the A660 between Leeds and Otley, a village that became a commuter village and kept its green edges, with Golden Acre Park and Breary Marsh just down the road.

The housing is mostly comfortable detached, a lot of it built in the sixties and seventies, with older stone cottages scattered through the middle of the village.
